Rwanda’s Re-Elected President Unveils New Cabinet, Retaining Minister Paula Ingabire for ICT and Innovation

Rwandan President Paul Kagame has unveiled his new cabinet following his re-election. We are delighted to note that Minister Paul Ingabire (Minister of ICT and Innovation) retains her position along with majority of members from the previous cabinet. This shows her credibility and performance in office and indeed indicates stability for the country.
The Rwanda Ministry of ICT and Innovation has the mission to address national priorities relating to economic growth and poverty reduction through the development and coordination of national policies and programs related to information, technology, communication, and innovation, as well as citizen’s empowerment.
Prior to her appointment, Minister Paula Ingabire served as Head of the ICT Business Development Department of the Rwanda Development Board and Coordinator of the Kigali Innovation City Project. Minister Ingabire also worked as the Smart Africa coordinator, an initiative that seeks to leverage broadband infrastructure to drive Africa’s socio-economic growth. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s School of Engineering & Sloan School of Management, in System Design and Management and holds a BS in Computer Engineering and Information Technology from the former Kigali Institute of Science and Technology.
Big congratulations to the amiable and indefatigable Minister Paula Ingabire.
